The project have funding for the project 8 mill NOK for a consortium of working on this project. See UiA ukenytt, NFR information, and about the project TBM - Teaching Better Mathematics is a joint project for a consortium of 5 university colleges in Norway. University of Agder (UiA) is leading the consortium, with dr Anne Berit Fuglestad as project leader. Barbara Jaworski was the first project leader, (2006 - 07). Teaching Better Mathematics is a title with two aims: teaching (better mathematics) means that we aim to develop better understandings of, and competency in mathematics for pupils in schools; teaching better (mathematics) means that we will explore better teaching methods to achieve the first aim. Didacticians and teachers will research together to achieve these aims with research that is both developmental and scientific. See the descriptions of the different projects for further details. For each of the consortium partners there is a specific project description. For every college there is a collection of collaborating schools and school owners.
